Linden St. Homes, Salem

Restrepo & Associates, in collaboration with The Authority, is undertaking the initial phase of a residential infill strategy along Linden Street in Salem City. This project encompasses the construction of six homes on ten vacant lots within the same block, as well as the demolition of seven abandoned structures. Upon completion, these homes will be made available for purchase to low- and moderate-income households. To date, planning approval has been secured, necessary predevelopment work has been completed, and a commitment of $4 million has been obtained from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs through the Affordable Housing Trust Fund. The lots are currently under the ownership of the City of Salem and are slated for acquisition in the upcoming spring, with construction expected to commence in the summer. The project is anticipated to reach completion in the spring of 2026, just over one year following the initiation of construction.
